Our Farm

The farm has been in our family for over 100 years. We have had mules, bluegrass seed, tobacco, sheep, and cattle as cash crops. Presently, a herd of cows and their calves graze in the lush fields.

The T.B. Bright Farmstead continues to be innovative and bold in our farming practices. The farmstead is on the historic register and has been recognized by the Boyle Landmark Trust. We cherish our structures and keep them in good repair, from the house that is more than 200 years old to the mule barn that dates from 1897. The Cottage was built in the early 1900’s and has welcomed guests as a bed and breakfast since 1989, when it was completely renovated.
